Long road this recovery business. Here’s an update

Here goes some more of my personal info. I got off that 80ml habit of methadone which I was happy about, then transferred to 14ml of subutex. It was’t too hard either. I have been taking 2ml off those a week to get me down to a mere 4 ml subutex. Things are getting rough now tho’.

I have a diazepam habit that’s really the brutal scourge I don’t want to face, but on with patting myself on the back for getting this far”

From:
25 mg of benzodiazepine (10 years)
80 mg of methadone (2 years)
then 14 mg of subutex (? months)

To:
4 mg of subutex
8 mg of diazepam

Plus one year of interferon and beating Hep C after finishing my two year music diploma.

Not too bad!

I want off now! But need to go easy on myself. I’m now a whopping 16 stone and lazy as hell. It’s a hard road to heaven, but not near as hard as the road to hell. Anxiety is awful and depression as bad, but onward I go.
